August 20, 2015 – The Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona’s Eighteenth Annual Luncheon “Learning, Loving & Living with Cancer”

WHAT:

The Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona will hold its educational “Learning, Loving and Living with Cancer” Luncheon on Thursday, October 29, 2015, from 11:30am – 1:30pm. Registration starts at 11 AM, and Health Partner booths are available until 2 PM. The Linda Rainford Award and the Edgar H. Hernandez Humanitarian Award will be presented to two very deserving members of our community. Both award winners have shown dedication and commitment to the mission of the DCFA. The Carole Weishaar Founder’s Award will be given to a long-term DCFA supporter. DCFA’s Health Partner organizations will share their expertise and resources and invite participation in this important cause. Mr. John Sentz, DCFA Board Member and cancer survivor and Ross Bremner, MD, PhD, Director of the John and Doris Norton Thoracic Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center will be keynote speakers. Jeanine L’Ecuyer of L’Ecuyer Communications, LLC will emcee the event.

WHO:

Participating sponsors and luncheon participants help the DCFA raise funds for education, screenings and treatment resources for Arizona cancer patients.

COST:

Tickets are available at $40 per person or $400 for a table of ten for this heartwarming event. Space is limited, so please register soon.
